Files

Files is the browser file manager for your server. Use it for uploads, downloads, edits, folders, renames, deletes, URL imports, and archive extraction.

Quick rule

Use Files when you know the exact file or folder you need. Use Worlds when your goal is to switch the active world, download the active world, or regenerate it.

Common workflows

Edit a config

Open an editable text file, make the change, save it, then restart the server if the software only reads that file on startup.

Upload a pack or world

Upload a .zip, .7z, .rar, or .tar.gz archive, then use Extract on its row.

Import from URL

Paste a direct download link from an allowed host to pull a large file onto the server without sending it through your browser.

Clean up files

Rename or delete files from the row actions. Deleting cannot be undone from the file manager.

Uploads and archives

Uploads go straight to your server node and follow the per-file size limit shown in the file manager. Archives extract in the folder where you click Extract. Files with matching names may be overwritten, so make a backup first if you are replacing world or pack files.

Split archives such as .7z.001 or .part1.rar are not supported. Create one complete archive before uploading.

World files

Files can upload and extract a world folder, but the Worlds page is where you set which folder is active, prepare a world download, or regenerate the world.

When Files is unavailable

Files is unavailable while a server is still provisioning, suspended, deleted, or parked in the Vault. Wait for setup to finish, fix billing, wake the server, or contact support if the status looks wrong.
