Server software
Folia is Paper rebuilt for regionized multithreading: instead of one main thread doing all the work, the world is split into regions that tick in parallel across your CPU cores. It is the pick for big, spread-out communities where players scatter across the map and a single thread becomes the bottleneck.
Folia takes Paper's engine and splits the world into independently ticking regions, each running on its own thread. A build far from spawn no longer competes with spawn for the same core. That makes it the loader of choice for large survival communities, anarchy maps, and any server where players spread out across the world instead of clustering in one town.
The honest part: plugins must explicitly declare Folia support, so the catalog is smaller than Paper's, but everything in it genuinely works multithreaded. We install and test every Folia server on our hardware before it goes on sale, and you run yours from one dashboard with a live console and off-site backups on every plan. When your community outgrows the box, an upgrade path keeps the world.
