Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 2026-06-10

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes conduct that is prohibited on the loothost service (the “Service”), operated by Davos Dev LLC. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your server and account.

1. Prohibited content

You may not store, host, or distribute content that is illegal under applicable law, including content that infringes intellectual-property rights, child sexual abuse material, or content that is otherwise unlawful. You are responsible for the content of the worlds and communities you host.

2. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Service to:

  • launch or participate in network attacks, including denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port scanning, or intrusion attempts;
  • operate botnets or command-and-control infrastructure, or distribute malware;
  • send spam or other unsolicited bulk messaging;
  • mine cryptocurrency or run other workloads unrelated to operating a Minecraft server;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other customers’ servers, or our infrastructure;
  • resell, sublicense, or otherwise make the hosting available to third parties as your own service.

3. Resource use

Each plan provides a defined allocation of memory, storage, and processing capacity. You may not circumvent these limits or use resources in a way that degrades the Service for other customers. We may throttle, suspend, or require an upgrade for servers that materially exceed their plan’s intended use.

4. Minecraft EULA and Microsoft terms

Your use of Minecraft on the Service must comply with the Minecraft End User License Agreement and applicable Microsoft terms, including their rules on the operation of Minecraft servers. loothost is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

5. DMCA / copyright

We respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement regarding user-generated content hosted on the Service, under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws. If you believe content hosted on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Service; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Designated agent: Davos Dev LLC, by email at [email protected]. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and, in appropriate cases, terminate repeat infringers.

6. Reporting and enforcement

To report a violation of this AUP, contact [email protected]. We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate the Service, remove content, or take other action we consider appropriate, with or without notice, as described in our Terms of Service.
