Cursed Walking server hosting

A modern zombie apocalypse: hordes, guns, and base defense.

Tested on our hardware

Cursed Walking turns Minecraft into a proper zombie apocalypse: the dead come in hordes, supplies run short, and the safest hour you will ever have is the one before the groaning starts again. It is a pack for players who love scavenging runs, boarded windows, and the slow pride of a base that finally holds. Survival diehards and co-op crews feel right at home.

A horde is only scary when it moves like one. Dozens of zombies pressing your wall is exactly the kind of entity load that makes a weak server stutter, and a stuttering apocalypse is just a slideshow. We install and test every pack on our own hardware before selling it, keep off-site backups of your world on every plan, and give you a live console for the loud moments.

Why host Cursed Walking here

  • Zombie hordes are pure entity load, so we installed and tested Cursed Walking on our own hardware before it ever went on sale.
  • Off-site backups on every plan mean a breached perimeter costs you one bad night, not the whole settlement.
  • You manage the apocalypse from one dashboard, with a live console for the nights when everything goes wrong at once.

How to start a Cursed Walking server

  1. Pick a plan

Plans are just RAM. The recommendation on this page is the size we tested this pack on.

  2. Pick Cursed Walking in the create flow

The pack is preinstalled and configured by us; there is nothing to upload.

  3. We build the server

Provisioning runs in minutes and your dashboard shows every step live.

  4. Share the address and play

Friends join with the server address from your dashboard; the console, files, and backups live there too.

Frequently asked questions

How much RAM does Cursed Walking need?
Cursed Walking runs on 8 GB and up. That is a tested number from running the pack on our own hardware, not a guess. For a typical friend group we recommend the Modded plan: 8 GB, sized for 3-10 players.
Is Cursed Walking better solo or with friends?
It works solo, but it shines with a crew. Base defense is a team sport: someone reinforces the walls, someone runs scavenging loops, someone keeps watch. On a hosted server your world keeps running around the clock, so the base holds while you are offline and the whole group plays in the same persistent apocalypse.
What should we build first on a fresh Cursed Walking server?
Shelter before ambition. Early on, supplies are scarce and the dead are not, so most groups lock down a defensible spot, stock up on food and tools, and only then push out on bigger scavenging runs. If a run goes sideways, the dashboard and live console make it quick to check what happened and get everyone back in.
Can we switch to a different pack later?
Yes. Your dashboard can switch the server to another pack or server type. Take a backup first and the old world stays restorable.
Are backups included?
Yes. Off-site cloud backups are included on every plan, on a configurable hourly to weekly cadence, with up to 20 kept.
